This single-jointed olive-head snaffle bit, made of hard carbon, allows for direct transmission of rein aids to the horse's tongue and lower jaw thanks to its fixed sidepieces. The fixed sidepieces also protect the sensitive corners of the mouth and gently frame the horse laterally. The bit sits exceptionally quietly in the mouth.

The single-jointed snaffle is a true classic. It acts on the lower jaw via the tongue. When the reins are applied, the joint in the middle of the mouthpiece opens slightly, relieving pressure on the center of the tongue and directing more of the pressure to the sides.
